The Beaker Burial
Beaker People, came from the continent and gradually spread into Britain, replacing Stone Age people. Their graves are widely scattered across Herefordshire. The skeleton in the museum was found by a digger driver at a gravel pit at Aymestrey in 1987.

This spade and barrow was used on the morning of 30th November when Lady Bateman cut the first sod for the building of the the Kington and Leominster Railway.

Launch of our 2023 season
The 2023 season at Leominster Museum started with a celebration on Easter Saturday, the 8th of April. Over fifty people attended the Launch and enjoyed coffee and hot cross buns.
