The Beaker Burial
Beaker People, came from the continent and gradually spread into Britain, replacing Stone Age people. Their graves are widely scattered across Herefordshire. The skeleton in the museum was found by a digger driver at a gravel pit at Aymestrey in 1987.

The Museum & Priory 900
Leominster Museum is delighted to help Leominster Priory celebrate the 900th anniversary of its refoundation by creating a display of historic floor tiles, discovered in an archaeological dig in 2002 near the church.
