Leominster Museum is delighted to acknowledge payment of a generous AIM Collections Care Audit Grant with Icon and supported by the Pilgrim Trust.

Using this grant, we were able to secure the services of Jane Thompson-Webb, of the Birmingham Museums Trust.  Jane carried out an audit of the display of specific items in our collection, and gave advice on our new displays and storage systems.

As well as answering our questions Jane highlighted aspects of collection care we had not considered fully – this was extremely helpful. As a result of the visit we have been able to effect some measures immediately, while other themes will feed into our long-tern development and conservation plans.
