Jarrod Bowen was born and grew up in in Leominster.
He started his professional Footballing career at Hereford FC before moving to Hull and ultimately Premier League West Ham.
He made his England debut in 2022 and has gained four caps.

After unsuccessful trials at Aston Villa and Cardiff City, Bowen started his football career as a scholar at Hereford United. At the age of 17, he was given his first team debut by manager Peter Beadle and scored his first career goal in April 2014.
After Hereford were expelled from the Football Conference in June 2014, Bowen signed for Premier League club Hull City in July. He made his first-team debut for Hull at the start of the following season and in 2016 signed a new two-year contract with the club, later extending this to 2020. In 2018 he won both the Hull City Supporter’s Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year awards, winning them again the following year as well as the Hull City Supporter’s Player of the Year award.
On 31 January 2020, Bowen joined West Ham United on a permanent transfer, with the Premier League club paying an initial £18 million for the forward, with up to £7 million in potential add-ons. He scored a debut goal in his first appearance for the club. He went on to score eight goals in the season, and the following season scored his first goal in European football in the Europa League. He finished the 2021–22 season as West Ham’s top scorer with 18 goals in all competitions, 12 of them in the Premier League, and was named as West Ham’s players’ player of the season.
He made his international debut for England in June 2022, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1–0 loss against Hungary in the Nations League. Despite the team losing his performance drew praise.
Jarrod Bowen is a versatile forward, playing mainly as a winger on the right flank. He is known for his speed, movement, clinical finishing, agility and ball control, as well as his ability to use both his pace and flair on the ball in order to create scoring opportunities for himself or his teammates.
Bowen is in a relationship with reality television personality Dani Dyer. The couple have recently announced they are expecting twins.
